Choose Love, Choose Life, Choose a t-Shirt!

As you probably know Tesco is basically taking over the world! They sell everything, do everything, help everyone, save everything!
Their are now helping our ethical conscience buy hooking up with the fashion slogan queen herself, Katherine E Hamnett. Together they have come up with an organic and fair trade clothing collection for Men Women and children.
'Choose Love' was inspired by "tackling today's global issues". It's an affordable range made from soft, organic and fair trade cotton.
The women's range includes T-shirts and hoodies and starts from £10 -£15. The men's range starts from £6-£10 and also includes T-shirts.
The kid's range starts from £5 and is called 'Save The Future For Me' playing on the idea that we are ruining the world for the future generations.
The ranges are small but they have big ideas. Tesco can afford to buy the cotton at a fair price and keep the prices for the customers down. Lets just hope that they are playing fair and that this doesn't just turn out to be a headline grabbing trick.

Sample Sales, Sample Sales, Sample Sales

Treat yourself with something special for xmas. If you've never been to a sample sale before your in for a treat. They can be really good. You can get pieces that no one else will have or designer pieces at knock down prices. But be warned there sometimes is a lot of crap. You might find not very well made things that were tried out and rejected or pieces that are so small your big toe wouldn't venture in! Just don't buy something you have to fix or have no idea how to fix. Make sure you try it on there are no refunds or exchanges. It might stay in your wardrobe for a long time. That one off, spur of the moment bargin could turn into a wardrobe skeleton.
It is worth going to have a look though.
Orla Kiely has a sample sale of bags, accessories and ready-to-wear at the Old Truman Brewery on Thurs 7th of Dec to Sun 10th Dec. Phone 02078190159 for details or vist www.orlakiely.com

True Religion Jeans have a showroom sample sale from the 7th to the 10th of Dec. This is located at Area 142-29 Charlotte Road EC2A. Call 02077392409 for more details.

Keep those knees warm

I have so many difficulties with tights.... the crotch can be too low or too tight or the legs are too long etc, etc.. But I bought some tights recently (as it was about time I invested in some new ones!) and I was really suprised. A quick last minute purchase for a night out has led me too some great tights!
Try Fred and Florence at Tesco for a pack of 3 Opaque black tights (40 denier) at £3.50. Apparently they have a temperature control finish that keeps you warm when your cold and vice versa. I just thought they felt very smooth, soft with a nice sheen. Not your thick Granny tights! I bought medium but they came in small, large and xtra large.

This Season's Styles

Don't forget this season to buy key pieces bubble shaped skirts, chunky knit jumpers, knitted dresses, leggings, Naval inspired jackets, Straight wide leg trousers and skinny trousers.
Layer up and wear greys, reds and anything silver or gold that sparkles! You can't go wrong there's something for every one. Keep looking and I will let you know what's new to buy in the shops.

The 11th Wonder of the world!

Wonderbra have created something every girl has ever dreamed of, at least me anyway.
A bra that can be worn 100 ways. The Multi Plunge Bra has straps that can be moved around the edges of the cups to match any dress you have ever owned! It is now available Nationwide in black for the small cost of £26. Imagine how much use you'll get out of it, lets hope they bring it out in more colours. This will definitely be on my xmas list.
